![]() ![]() The Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T’s 1440p screen resolution may not match up to the Samsung G7 S28AG70’s 4K display, but its 240Hz refresh rate is higher than the S28AG70’s 144Hz, and its curved screen provides a more immersive viewing experience.Ĭompared to other brand’s similar models: The Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T is a tough competitor against the LG 32UL950-W, as it has a 240Hz refresh rate that dwarfs the LG monitor’s 60Hz refresh rate. With a peak HDR brightness level of 528 nits, the LC32G75T handles glare much better than the LC34G55T, which has a lower peak brightness rating of 332 nits. Still, the G5 has a slightly larger 34-inch screen compared to the G7’s 32-inch display, but the G7 has much better ergonomics for easier adjustability. Wish samsung used wider hinges for the plastic attachments as the current ones are too fragile.Compared to the same brand’s similar models: The Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T compares a lot better to the G5 LC34G55T, thanks to a higher 240Hz refresh rate than the latter’s 165Hz. ![]() My unit has no flickering at all, I feel very lucky and very happy with the screen. HDR also made things look too oversaturated so I gave up on it, it's meant for OLED TVs.Īlso in the first 3 hours or so there was a very discernible grey column that spanned the entire mid section (before the curve starts) when games faded to black, like in respawn screens, but it never occurred again. ![]() Out of the box it had a bit too much red so I had to calibrate.I also noticed some scanlines on top of the screen with specific patterns i.e the infamous rog wallpaper website (this makes my Alienware go crazy with vertical lines btw), and certain patches of solid colours with super detailed texture grain, but it's very small to notice and haven't seen it happen in any game. The AW2521HF has a much sturdier everything in comparison. There are no holes for air intake/exhausts like my Alienware, so the display runs a bit warm, like in a smarthpone. The RGB is only controllable through the display itself, but I don't care that much. The panel also uses a new type of glossy anti-reflex coating that should not be touched at all - it's an absolute fingerprint magnet. I recommend not following the manual down to a T because it stresses the cables way too much to pass them through the stand. It seems Samsung used as little plastic as possible on the corners of the chassis/feet and RGB adornment on the back, I even broke 2 plastic hinges - at the round thingy that spreads the back RGB and the back panel cover too. This is actually closer to my friend's LG OLED C1 than another computer monitor. Doom Eternal is jaw dropping, Outer Wilds' space is actually BLACK, response time is AMAZING, I might say it's even a bit better than my Alienware! Zero VA black streaks too. I actually teared up while trying out the Samsung with different games the contrast on mine destroys my AW2521HF and even my favourite for movies, the AOC 24G2. Trying to update via an USB 3.0 sticker did not work, nor I have a 2.0 to try it out. I currently have the LC27G75TQSLXZD, it's stand sticker says it's manufactured in October 2021 (at least the stand), firmare 1011.1.
